Sounds like

your NAB is flagged as having calendar data in it so RnRMgr tries to open it to see if its R&R data or not.

Your NAB should not be marked as having a Calendar in it so I suggest you find my NoCal.exe and run it on your NAB. I posted NoCal many moon ago to the Sandbox but it will still work just fine.

As for why AMgr cares, it probably needs to check rights and cannot so it stops to be safe.
